Testimonial Blog - Healing at IDK

Back

This past August my beloved husband and I were at the I.D.K Service at church. (It is a church service for all the South Bay congregations to come together every Sunday at 6:00 p.m. it is hosted by our church, and various pastors and speakers along with worship bands come from around California and the United States to preach & worship. It is called I.D.K. because I Don't Know what God is going to do here but we are gathering to worship him.)

Okay, that being said, last Aug we were at I.D.K. and the guest preacher was from Redding, CA his name is Kevin Dedmon. When Kevin was speaking he said that God wants to heal someone here with Lupus, and to stand up to receive that. I think my sweet husband was pleased that for some reason I wasn't too shy to stand up……most likely I feared he would stand on the chair and point to me saying "it's her, it's her!!' and I wanted to avoid that. So, Kevin prayed for me and I thought to myself, "well, that's nice…" Believing God could do it but not fathoming why He would do it for me because I don't complain about the Lupus and figured I would just deal with it the rest of my life, and there are so many others in real distress more worthy of His touch. For the next couple weeks after Kevin praying for me, I noticed I had substantially fewer "episodes" and the intensity/pain level was a 1 or a 2 compared to the 8s and 9s I used to have. So, I thought "…huh….that's kind of interesting. I want/need a blood test". For the past 8 to 10 weeks I have had zero episodes.

So this morning I meet with my Doctor and we go over my blood test results: The antinuclear antibodies (ana) interpretive guidelines are - ana less than 100 is Negative, ana between 100 & 120 is Borderline, ana greater than 120 is Positive. Keep in mind, my ana was 640 (and I have the LabCorp report from 2003 when I was first diagnosed to prove it). Today, my ana is 13! Indeed, that is a 13 not a 130. My ana was 640 and is now 13. My Doctor had no explanation…..but I do J
